IT’S THE LINES THAT BOTHER ME.
Sometimes it really is that simple. You’re not looking to change your face or suddenly look ten years younger. You’ve just started noticing the lines more than you used to.
Some lines come mainly from the way your face moves — smiling, frowning, concentrating and generally being a human. Others become more noticeable as the skin changes over time and loses some of its firmness and bounce. Often, it’s a bit of both.

NOT EVERY LINE NEEDS TREATING.
And treating a line doesn’t necessarily mean putting filler directly into it.
If the skin itself is becoming thinner, less smooth or more crepey, improving skin quality may make more sense. If a deeper line or fold is being made more noticeable by changes in facial support, filler may sometimes help. Lines caused mainly by facial movement are different again, and appropriate options can be discussed during a consultation.
The aim isn’t to make your face completely smooth. It’s to work out which lines are actually bothering you and whether treating them would make enough difference to be worthwhile.
WHAT MIGHT HELP?
MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling encourages the skin’s natural repair response and new collagen production. It can be useful when fine lines are part of a wider change in skin texture and quality.
PLINEST
Polynucleotides focus on improving the quality of the skin rather than filling individual lines. They can be useful when skin is starting to look thinner, less smooth or generally less healthy than it used to.
JALUPRO SUPER HYDRO
When fine lines are appearing alongside changes in hydration, firmness and elasticity, Jalupro Super Hydro may be an option for improving overall skin quality.
DERMAL FILLER
For some deeper lines and folds, loss of support or volume elsewhere in the face may be contributing. Filler can sometimes soften them, but treating the line you can see isn’t automatically the best place to start.
WHAT ABOUT LINES CAUSED BY MOVEMENT?
These need a different approach. Some treatment options are prescription-only and cannot be advertised publicly, but where appropriate we can discuss them privately during your consultation.
Not sure where to start with the lines that bother you?
You don’t need to choose a treatment from a list. We can look at the lines you’re noticing, discuss realistic options and decide whether doing anything is worthwhile.
What happens at a consultation
- Tell me what’s bothering you.
- We discuss realistic options, including doing nothing.
- You decide whether to proceed.
